OUR APPROACH
Every project begins with a conversation.
We are a conversational studio and believe the best projects develop through an open exchange of ideas between client, designer and maker.
Taking time to understand the people, place and purpose behind a project often reveals something more meaningful - creating a deeper connection between the finished work, the materials from which it is made and the place it belongs.
This approach carries through projects of every scale, from a single piece of furniture to a complete interior or larger architectural project.

Services
Bespoke Furniture
Rather than beginning with a fixed catalogue, material is often central to this process, with an emphasis on Scottish-grown and locally sourced timber and, where possible, an understanding of its provenance.
We design and manufacture bespoke fitted furniture, including kitchens, libraries, wardrobes, shelving and integrated storage. Designed and made in our Glasgow workshop, each project is developed in response to the architecture around it, allowing furniture and building to feel connected rather than treated as separate elements.
Our in-house design and architectural expertise allows us to consider projects at a broader scale - from individual rooms and complete interiors to spatial alterations and larger architectural interventions. This means conversations about a piece of furniture can naturally develop into conversations about the room around it, how a space is used, or how the architecture itself might be reconsidered.
Where required, we can carry a project from its earliest conversations through design development, manufacture, construction and final installation. Working alongside a trusted network of builders, craftspeople and specialist fabricators allows us to undertake more substantial projects while retaining a consistent approach to material, detail and making throughout.
WORKING WITH US
Every project begins with a conversation.
Some clients come to us with a defined budget, while others come with an idea and want to understand what it might cost to realise.
We are happy to work within an agreed budget, or we can provide an initial estimate based on the scope and ambition of the project. This gives us a useful starting point before investing time in detailed design work.
Once there is a shared understanding of the project and its likely cost, we can develop the conversation through concept drawings, material studies and, where appropriate, more detailed workshop or architectural drawings and models.

Meudail Meudail brings together design, architecture and making within a small collaborative studio. Our core team is supported by a trusted network of craftspeople, builders and specialist fabricators who we work with according to the needs of each project.
Martin Campbell
Founder / Designer & Maker
Martin founded M’eudail M’eudail to bring careful design and hands-on making into the same conversation. His work is guided by a respect for materials, direct collaboration and the lasting life of each object and space.
Elisabetta Fragala
Architect
Elisabetta brings architectural rigour and a calm, contextual approach to the studio. She helps projects move fluidly between furniture, interiors and the wider spaces they inhabit.
