The project brings together locally sourced oak, reeded glass and dark stained specialist pippy oak veneered cabinetry within a Glasgow tenement.

A new oak and reeded-glass screen forms a threshold between the kitchen and adjoining living space, allowing the two rooms to remain visually connected while giving each a distinct character.

The cabinetry combines lighter natural oak with darker timber elements, creating contrast while allowing the character and variation of the material to remain visible.

The project was developed alongside Isola Studio, who undertook the architectural design and spatial reconfiguration.
